A timeline for construction has not yet been established.*** For furnishing all labor, material, tax, transportation, equipment, and services necessary for the Airline Ticket Counter Upgrade project at Stockton Metropolitan Airport (SCK), Stockton. The work included in this project shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following: Remove and replace existing ticket counters A & B to match ticket counter C. Ticket counter area A & B & C will be required to comply with the accessibi- lity requirements of the 2019 CBC chapter 11B, section 11B-227 Sales and service. Remove and replace bag well and scale. Remove and replace TSA desk. Remove and replace kiosk enclosure. Replace flooring, replace rubber base. Patch terrazzo flooring as necessary to match existing. Saw cut and patch concrete as necessary for electric and data installation. Patch, repair, and paint any existing wall surface damaged or disturbed during the millwork installation. Patch all existing locations where concrete has been removed under ticket counters, kiosks, and bag scales. Install 1-2 port data outlet to each bag scale location. Install 1 dedicated electrical outlet to each bag scale location. Install 2-6 port data outlets to each ticket counter and kiosk location using CAT-6 cabling home run back to server room. Install 2 dedicated 4plex electrical outlets to each ticket counter and kiosk location. Any questions about the RFQ can be directed to Russell Stark, rstark@sjgov.org Prequalification of Respondents: This RFQ is the first step of a two-step competitive selection process for services to be performed in accordance with the selection procedures set forth herein. As part of the RFQ process, a selection committee will select a short list of at least two (2) firms based on selection criteria identified herein. This short list of firms will be invited to participate in the second step of the selection process, the Request for Proposal (RFP). Wage Requirements. Pursuant to Section 1770, and following, of the Califor-nia Labor Code, the Contractor shall pay not less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations. Copies of such prevailing rate of per diem wages are on file at the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors office, which copies shall be made available to any interested party on request. All labor on the project shall be paid the higher of the minimum wage rates as established by the U.S. Secretary of Labor, or the California Director of Industrial Relations. If a discrepancy exists between these two determinations, then all labor on the project shall be paid the higher of the two minimum wage rates. Award of Contract. RFP responses shall be made using the form provided by the Owner and shall be properly completed with all items filled out; numbers shall be in writing and figures; the signatures of all persons signing shall be in longhand. Each proposer must supply all the information required by the RFP documents and specifications. No proposer may withdraw his or her bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the time set for the opening of proposals, and the Airport will act to accept or reject proposals within that period of time. The contract will be awarded on the basis of 55% Construction Approach and 45% Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and will provide for progressive payments and liquidated damages as fixed in the specifications. All proposals shall in all respects comply with the Instructions to Proposers and Contract Documents. Proposals must be in writing and signed by or on behalf of the bidder. The Department of Aviation will award the project based on the lowest proposal of the Base Bid from a responsive bidder. The Department of Aviation reserves the right to define the project as the Base Bid depending on funds available. The award of this project is not contingent upon a grant offer from the Federal Aviation Administration.
