The University of Louisville Athletic Association (ULAA), as part of a naming rights agreement, has agreed to renovate the space at Cardinal Stadium currently known as the Brown and Williamson Club. The naming rights agreement stipulates the space must be renovated no later than the end of the 2022 calendar year. It is the goal of ULAA to have the project 100% complete before August 15, 2022, so that the space can be utilized for the start of the 2022 footballs season. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued on behalf of the University of Louisville Athletics Association to obtain information, qualifications, and project costs from Design Build firms, or teams, to design and renovate/construct the current space in Cardinal Stadium known as the Brown and Williamson Club. The University of Louisville is requesting submittal of qualifications and pricing from Design Build Teams to perform turnkey architecture, engineering and construction services for the design and renovation/construction of the spacing at Cardinal Stadium known as the Brown and Williamson Club. The evaluation of submitted proposals shall be based upon the specific criteria contained with this Request for Proposal. The following will be required from any design/build firm to be considered: o Ability to provide all required and requested architectural drawings in order to start and complete construction. o Hospitality design expertise - the area will service the top-tier donors of ULAA, so it is imperative the space be designed to meet the latest standards of hospitality construction. o ULAA has worked closely with Jack Porter, INC.(JPI), an experiential graphics firm to provide renderings to the naming rights partner. It is recommended that JPI be a member of the design/build team in order to help facilitate the overall design the naming rights partner is expecting upon project completion. Drawings will be provided at Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference. o Ability to procure all needed materials in order to complete construction. o Ability to self-perform or subtract all labor and trades needed to complete construction Extend questions deadline to October 20, 2021 at 12:00 PM, EST
