Site work for a civil project in San Marcos, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bidders must submit a cashiers check, certified check, or acceptable bidders bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted. Questions must be submitted in writing to the City of San Marcos Purchasing and Contracting Division only at rshelton@sanmarcostx.gov. Please reference the solicitation number when corresponding. The scope of the project includes an expansion of the City's high service pump station (HSPS) to increase pumping capacity by one pump unit, motor improvements at the GBRA HSPS, and a new surge tank for the GBRA system. Additionally, a new 2.0 MG ground storage tank shall be installed to accept delivery of Alliance Regional Water Authority (ARWA) water at the San Marcos Surface Water Treatment Plant (SWTP). A new generator and electrical improvements are also included in the project scope. A. ARWA Meter Pad Connection B. Ground Storage Tank and Overflow Line C. Piping between new Tank #3 and existing Clearwell #2 D. Pump Station Improvements - San Marcos, GBRA, and Surge Tank E. Pump Station Interconnection F. 16-inch Pipeline between High Service Pump Station and ARWA Meter Pad G. Generator Expansion H. Electrical Improvements Engineer and Owner have estimated the cost for construction of this Project to be approximately $12,500,000.
