Demolition, site work and addition to an educational facility in Olds, Alberta. Design plans call for the addition of a 73,440-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

Expansion and redevelopment of the WJ Elliott Building and immediate surrounding site. The WJ Elliott Building has been designated as the intended host site for an expansion in trades training facilities including new shop spaces, expansion of the building vertically to house additional classrooms and office spaces for an expanded staff. The site around the existing building is used extensively for the management, storage and training facility with small equipment. Encroachment upon this space will be limited due to the value of the proximity to the building. The building currently includes 4 lab spaces, classrooms and support spaces. The building is roughly 6800 square meters in size in its current configuration. The scope will include mechanical and electrical improvements. TIMELINE: Design is underway by the architect. Tender and construction may proceed in 2025, pending final plans and funding approvals. Further update may be available by spring. *A contact at the architect is not released for publication.
