Demolition, site work and addition to a water / sewer project in Phenix City, Alabama. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Cut off for questions: March 21, 2022, at 4:00pm local time The Project consists of the following major components: Upgrades to the Phenix City Wastewater Treatment Facility to increase treatment capacity to 7.75 MGD with the following process upgrades: Headwork electrical upgrades Grit system improvements Aeration basin expansion Final clarifier RAS/WAS pump station Process air diffuser system and new blower Septage receiving station Asphalt paving Clarifier drive repairs Miscellaneous piping and valves For information concerning the proposed Work, contact Jim Smith, P.E., Constantine Engineering, 200 Clinton Avenue West, Suite 601, Huntsville, AL 35801, (256) 203.9501. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by security submitted on the prescribed Bid Bond form in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the amount bid. All Contractors are required to provide certification of compliance with the E-Verify program per Alabama Act 2012-491. This project (EDA Investment No. 04-01-07425) will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program. Contractors are hereby notified that they are encouraged, to the greatest extent practicable, to purchase American-made equipment and products with funding provided under this award.
