Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Sheridan, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; detention facility; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
These improvements are generally described as follows Replacing the courthouse roof, replacing and repairing cornice, repairing masonry wall damage (including, but not limited to, masonry cleaning, tuckpointing, and rebuilding). The jail cornice will be replaced in-kind, repairing masonry wall damage (including, but not limited to, masonry cleaning, tuckpointing, and rebuilding). Site work to correct drainage issues in drive aisle between the courthouse and jail, including the sub-grade tunnel and various other site work. A historic mason restoration contractor has been pre-selected for that scope of the work. This work is located at 224 South Main Street, Sheridan, WY 82801 All bids shall be made in accordance with forms referenced to and/or made a part of the proposed contract documents. The Contractors, in submitting their respective bids, acknowledge that such bids conform to all Wyoming State Statute requirements. Each bidder must deposit bid security with the bid, payable to Sheridan County, in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a contract Performance Bond, and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price as originally bid or subsequently modified. The cost of the bonds shall be included in the Contractors Bid Proposal. No bidder may withdraw its bid until 30 days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities of any bid. The Owner also reserves the right to award the contract to such responsible bidders as may be determined by the Owner. A five percent preference will be allowed for Wyoming resident Contractors as required by Wyoming Statutes. Preference is hereby given to material suppliers, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied or grown in Wyoming, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state.
