Project is located at Plant No. 2 at 22212 Brookhurst Street, Huntington Beach, CA 92646. The Project consists, of the replacement of all mechanical "chain and flight" collection system components within six (6) clarifiers at the Secondary Clarifiers at Plant No. 2. The configuration of the clarifiers is rectangular and there are three (3) sets of longitudinal collectors and one (1) cross collector in each clarifier. Work includes some concrete repair and installation of torque limiter mechanisms and proximity sensors. The Work involves entry improvements at the secondary clarifiers and fall restraint anchor installation at DAFT facilities in Plant No. 2. The major features of the Work include, but are not limited to, the following: Addition of Access Platforms and Ladder Holders at each of the 12 secondary clarifier basins for a safer means of plant personnel ingress and egress. Addition of a new davit crane attachment at each of the 12 secondary clarifier for fall protection, emergency retrieval, and rescue operations. Addition of a new davit crane and davit crane attachment at each of the 12 secondary clarifier for sump pump maintenance. Fall Restraint Anchor points inside DAFT A, B, C, and D facilities for fall protection. Walkway modification inside DAFT A, B, C, and D facilities.
