Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in North Highlands, California. Completed plans call for site work for a 900-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.

Bidders shall submit a completed site visit certification, in a form acceptable to District, a copy of which is attached hereto, with their Bid. The Contract Documents for the Project have many unique requirements. Bidders are cautioned to carefully review all of the Contract Documents prior to submitting a Bid and to obtain pre-Bid clarification of any provision which bidder believes is ambiguous or confusing, as provided for in the Contract Documents. The Engineers Estimate for this project is: $650,000. 1. The Preparation of Site to Receive (1) 30'x30' Metal Shade Structure, to Be Constructed Delivered and Installed by Others, With Associated Site Work to Be Completed Prior to Delivery. 2. The Addition of (1) Play Structure, Site Paving, Fencing & Gates, Striping, Drinking Fountain and Associated Site Work. Each Bid must be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security: (1) cash; (2) a cashier's check made payable to the District; (3) a certified check made payable to the District; or (4) a bidder's bond executed by a California admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120, made payable to the District in the form set forth in the Bid Documents. Such bidder's security must be in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed Contract, if the same is awarded to such bidder, and will provide the required performance and payment Bonds, insurance certificates and any other required documents. In the event of failure to enter into said Contract or provide the necessary documents, said security will be forfeited. Within 10 days after notification of the Award of Contract, the successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish, simultaneously with execution of the Contract, a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond in the form required by the District, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price from an admitted surety company as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120. This is a Prevailing Wage Project Notice of Award November 19, 2021 Notice to Proceed December 10, 2021 Start Date: Construction December 13, 2021 Substantial Completion Date June 03, 2022 Contract Completion (Closeout) August 05, 2022 The Board reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and further reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids or in the bidding. Pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. No bid will be accepted nor any contract entered into without proof of the contractor's and subcontractors' current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations to perform work. If awarded a Contract, the Bidder and its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the Department of Industrial Relations for the duration of the Project Bidders are hereby notified that pursuant to section 1770 et seq. of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Director of Industrial Relations has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the rates for overtime and holiday work in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft, classification or type of workman needed to execute the Contract which will be awarded to the successful bidder.
