Bidders are responsible for obtaining adequate information and assessing the nature and scope of the work, as well as for being aware of the places and conditions affecting the performance of the work. All tenderers will be deemed to have visited the premises and no claim for lack of knowledge of the premises can be submitted. For the purposes of awarding the contract, only bids from contractors having an establishment in Quebec or, where an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by this agreement and holding, where applicable, the license required under the Building Act (LRQ cB-1.1). The bidding contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their bids. All tenders must be made in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation respecting construction contracts of public bodies adopted under the Act respecting contracting by public bodies (RSQ, c. C-65.1, r. 5). Any tenderer interested in concluding a contract of $ 25,000 or more with the PUBLIC BODY must hold a certificate from Revenu Québec (ARQ). The tenderer must submit the certificate (ARQ) to the CSP with his tender when submitting it, otherwise his tender will be automatically rejected. The certificate from Revenu Québec must be valid until the end of the 3-month period following the month in which it was issued.
