Site work for a water / sewer project in Vienna, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are hereby solicited for construction of the Mount Vernon Terrace Force Main Replacement Project. This wastewater construction project includes replacement of approximately 1,500 Linear Feet (LF) of sewer pipe: 50 LF of 4-inch force main, 1,200 LF of 6-inch force main, and 250 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sanitary sewer pipe. The project also includes installation of a valve vault, miscellaneous wet well and site improvements and relocation of overhead electrical power service to an underground duct bank in Alexandria, VA. This is a lump sum price contract. Contract length is 300 calendar days. Bid Security must accompany each proposal in accordance with Information for Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the opening thereof. The Board of Supervisors of Fairfax County, Virginia reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities and irregularities in bidding and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interest of the County.
