Saving Project...

Renovation of a library in Lansing, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 13,318-square-foot, one-story above grade library.

Estimated cost is around $100,000 EAI No: 2119 Work includes removal of existing Ceiling System, providing new walls, door & frame, suspended acoustical ceiling, painting walls in area, modifying fires suppression system, and proving new waterless fire suppression system for Server Room, providing new HVAC Diffusers and grilles. providing new lay-in LED lights and reinstallation of fire alarm devices and other work as shown on the drawings. Coordinate with flooring and movable office partition contractors. Each proposal must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the basic proposal. Guarantee shall be in the form of a certified check or bid bond executed by an approved surety company, made payable to the Capital Area District Libraries. Proposal guarantee shall run for a period of Ninety (90) days The successful bidder may be required to furnish a "Performance Bond" and a "Labor and Material Payment Bond", each bond in the amount of 100% of his contract, as required in the "Instructions to Bidders". The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities in bidding, or to accept the lowest responsible proposal(s) that in the opinion of the owner will serve the best interest of the owner. The owner will not be obligated to accept the lowest proposal. The owner further reserves the right to approve all subcontractors.
