The Pittsville School District (District) invites contractors to submit proposals (two separate projects) to furnish air conditioning addition and needlepoint bipolar ionization. Install needlepoint bipolar ionization to all heating/cooling air handling systems in the District
that currently do not have it. Integrate with existing controls and all electronics. Installation of
needlepoint bipolar ionization (BPI) to improve the air quality in the District buildings.
Scope of work: Installing BPI in all:
Administration building - heating and cooling units and air handling units
Elementary building - primary wing - heating and cooling units and air handling units
Elementary building - 7/8 wing and 4/5/6 wing - heating and cooling units and air
handling units
High School building
- heating and cooling units and air handling units
All high and low voltage wiring and integrating with current control system

High School - (44) Heat pumps:
Provide and Install (1) GPS-FC48-AC unit for all the larger heat pumps in the high
school (39) required.
Provide and Install (1) GPS-FC-1 unit for all the smaller PTAC style heat pumps in the
High school. (5) Required.
All wiring included and test operation.
Elem. School - AHU 1 & Junior high wing AHU- 1 & 2:
Provide and Install (1) GPS I-Mod unit for AHU 1. (1) Required
Provide and Install (2) GPS I-Mod unit for JH Wing AHU 1 & 2. (2) Required
All wiring included and test operation.
4, 5, 6 wing & rooms 137,139, 127,125 & 123:
Provide and Install (1) GPS FC-1 NBPR . (19) required VRF cassette
Provide and Install (1)
All wiring included and test operation.
Make up Air unit in 4, 5, and 6 wing:
Provide and Install 1 GPS I-Mod unit for Makeup air system (1) <2 rows> (1) Required.
All wiring included and test operation.
Admin- AHU 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9:
Provide and Install (1) GPS I-Mod unit on all the units. (6) Required.
All wiring and test operation.
Admin - AHU 1, 2 & 7:
Provide and Install (1) GPS I-Mod unit for AHU-1 & 2. (2) Required.
Provide and Install (1) GPS I-Mod unit for AHU-7 <2 rows> (1) Required.
Factory startup and all state and local permits provided by installer.
