Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Section 4 Walnut Street Bridge Pipe Restraint Replacement, Somerville, MA This contract is subject to a N/A% MBE and a N/A% WBE participation requirement. The Work is located in the City of Somerville, Massachusetts adjacent to Walnut Street crossing the Fitchburg Commuter Rail. Currently the rail line is undergoing construction as part ofthe GreenLine Extension project to Medford. Allwork shall be incompliance with procedures outlined in MBTA Commuter Rail Access License. Lockout/Tagout of the Section 4 pipeline. The Authority will isolate and depressurize the pipeline prior to construction. Contractor shall verify with the Authority that pipeline is isolated and depressurized before starting work. Prepare and implement a Health and Safety Plan (HASP) in accordance with Section 01390. No work shall commence until the HASP has been approved by the Authority. Payment for all Work shall be based on the Line Items No. 1 Lump Sum price; Line Item No. 2 Police Detail Services, Allowance; Line Item No. 3 Keolis Flagger Services, Allowance; and Line Item 4, Bridge Inspection, Allowance. Work necessary for the completion of the Work but not covered in any Line Item shall be considered incidental to the Contract and the cost of such incidental work shall be included in, and paid for under the Contractor's Line Item No. 1 lump sum prices.
