Project no: 201998 Cullman County Board of Education Bid #26-21 for the locally funded project - Hanceville Middle School HVAC Upgrade and Renovations, located at 805 Commercial Street, Hanceville, Alabama, 35077, and scope of the work includes replacement of all 28 window units with new Bard HVAC systems. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Cullman County Commission on Education in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. The Owner has elected to have General Contractors pre-qualified for bidding on this Project. Only general contractors, that have installed two (2) projects of similar scope and magnitude that have been in service for minimum of 2 years with satisfactory performance of the entire system, and who have been approved to bid pursuant to prequalification procedures and criteria established by the Owner will be eligible to bid for the Project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
