City of Harlingen, Texas, will receive competitive, sealed bids for Bid No. 2022-1012 CDBG Fillmore Aver we Street improvement Project (Grant No. B-20-NIC-413-0504) Interested Bidders Trrest register with the Purchasing Office to request a bid packet including specifications arid plans. A bid bond in the amount equal to 5% of the bid must be submitted with each bid. This project is funded in whole with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development_ All federal requirements applicable to the CDBG Program apply to the project and contract. The City is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer_ SBEs, SDBs, HUBs, MBEs. and WBEs are encouraged to submit bids for this project Preference will be given to Section 3 Business Concerns The City reserves the right to waive any formarrties or informalities or reject any or all bids. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the bid opening
