Duncan Creek Park Synthetic Turf Replacement The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting applications from contractors for the following annual Pre-Qualifications: -Installation, Replacement and/or Relocation of Gravity Sanitary Sewer Mains, Force Mains and Appurtenances -Installation, Replacement and/or Relocation of Pressurized Water Mains and Appurtenances -Construction of Selected Watershed Improvement Projects Special Conditions: The Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources shall comply with O.C.G.A 36-91-20 as amended for mandatory Pre-Qualification of prospective bidders. Alternates include new waterline, new goal system and upgrades to the specified turf system. This project consists of the renovation of a synthetic turf multi-purpose field. The work includes, but is not limited to: o Demolition of existing Synthetic Turf & selected irrigation o Installation of new synthetic turf system (Alternates #1 & #2 are potential upgrades) o Installation of domestic waterline, isolation valves, hose bibbs & in-ground boxes (Alternate #3) o New football/soccer goal system (Alternate #4) The field will be closed during construction. However, the park will remain open. It will be the contractor's responsibility to secure the work areas and to protect the public from hazards. Work will take place between January 15, 2021 and April 15, 2022.
