Site work for a water / sewer project in Pemberton Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Bids will not be accepted after the specified time. The scope of work for this project consists of the installation of a 12 chlorine contact main and 1 copper water service across Burlington County Route 545 (Trenton Road). Each Bid must state the name and address of person, firm and corporation interested in the same as a principal. Bids must be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope, addressed to the Township Clerk, Township of Pemberton, 500 Pemberton-Browns Mills Road, Pemberton, NJ 08068 and identified as "Bid (#PT-14-2021) Deborah Chlorine Contact Main Installation Contract" Due to COVID-19 masks are required when entering the Township Municipal Building. Bids must be on the official Bid Form which can be obtained from Township of Pemberton, 500 Pemberton-Browns Mills Road, Pemberton, NJ 08068. Please also adhere to social distancing requirements when in the Municipal Building. Bids may be submitted via US Mail or some type of shipping service (i.e. FedEx, UPS, etc.). Bid can also be hand delivered to the Township Clerk. The Municipal Building is open, however there is a drop box outside the Township building. Should a bidder decide to use the drop box the bidder must contact the Township Clerk to let her know they submitted the bid via drop box. Specifications provide for receipt of Bids by mail. Those Bids which are mailed to the contracting unit shall be sealed, properly marked and shall only be opened for examination at such time and place as all Bids received are unsealed and announced. The Mayor, Township Council and its Solicitor (hereinafter referred to as Owner) will be the sole discretionary body for consideration or rejection of the Bids. The Engineer will furnish the Bidder with a copy of the specifications upon receipt of payment (for the cost of the specification preparation). WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS: Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of Bids or any authorized postponement thereof. Bids received after time and date designated shall not be considered. The provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3 shall be adhered to on this project. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION REGULATIONS: Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127 (NJAC 17:27). CONTRACT COMPLETION: Construction shall commence at the project site within fourteen (14) calendar days after the date to be specified in the written 'Notice to Proceed' by the Engineer and shall be completed within twenty (20) calendar days from the date the written 'Notice to Proceed' is given, unless otherwise agreed to. The final 2" paving restoration and closeout of the County Road Opening/ Occupancy Permits shall occur within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from date the written "Notice to Proceed" is given, unless otherwise agreed to. PREVAILING WAGE REQUIREMENTS: The provisions of the Department of Labor's current wage rate determinations and the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act are requirements of this project. PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION ACT: The provisions of the New Jersey Public Works Contractor Registration Act are requirements of this project. BUSINESS REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE: The provisions of the New Jersey Business Registration Requirements shall be adhered to on this project. PROJECT FUNDING: This project is funded by the Township of Pemberton.
