Sealed bids for the renovation/construction of the City of Omaha "Omaha Riverfront Trail Phase 4", Millers Landing Park to Kiwanis Park, are invited and will be received on or before the bid opening date, as per the project's specifications. Abbott Drive from Miller's Landing Park to Kiwanis Park Construction of a 10 foot wide concrete trail - demo, grading, tree/stump removal, fencing, concrete work, seeding erosion control measures, etc. All costs for contract document production will be directly billed by the printer to the requesting company and not to the issuer of this bidding opportunity. Potential bidders may receive special pricing for the printing of hard copies of the contract documents. Contact the printer for the cost associated with your request. General Contractor shall self-perform with its own workforce a minimum of thirty percent (30%) of the total cost of the Contract. Purchasing of materials does not qualify as self-performing the Work. This project has an SEB reserve for ESB and SB Tier 1 & 2 categories for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. This project requires the bidder to submit an Economic Equity and Inclusion Plan (EEIP) or an approved EEIP Certificate with their bid. Failure to submit either an Economic Equity and Inclusion Plan (EEIP) or an approved EEIP Certificate with their bid will result in the disqualification of their bid. As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany bid. City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the bidders shall have the right to appeal any decision to the City Council.
