Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Construct a paved multi-use trail along the Alameda Drain from 4th Street to Montano Road. The project includes asphalt paving, a prefabricated pedestrian bridge, concrete sidewalk, paving and curb and gutter, pedestrian traffic signal improvements, pedestrian cross walks and ADA access ramps, retaining wall and ornamental fence, pavement markings, traffic signs, water quality features within the Alameda Drain, landscaping and aesthetic features, and irrigation. Following the public bid reading, bids will be considered by the City and an award of the Contract, if made, will be within fifty-five (55) consecutive calendar days after the Bid Opening. Contract if awarded, will be awarded in accordance with the Gender Pay Equity Ordinance (5-5-31 COA). For Instructions to Bidders, bidding forms, and other contract documents, including plans, etc. to be used in connection with the submission of bids ("bidding documents"), the prospective Portions of bidding documents may be purchased at the cost of reproduction. The Bidder's attention is specifically directed to the Instructions to Bidders, Special Provisions and Supplemental Special Provisions contained in the Contract Documents. By submitting a bid, contractor agrees to abide by all provisions of both the Accountability in Government Ordinance (Section 2-10-1 COA) and the Inspector General Ordinance (2-17-1 COA). All General Contractors and Subcontractors are required to be prequalified at the time of bid pursuant to the Contractor Prequalification Rule 18.27.5 NMAC. All Prime Contractors shall be prequalified with the NMDOT no later than seven calendar days prior to bid opening; All Subcontractors shall be pr e-qualified with the NMDOT prior to performing any work; the Prequalification Packet is located electronically All products and materials must be on the NMDOT approved products list or APL:electronically The General Conditions of the City Standard Specifications shall govern the administration of the Contract. City of Albuquerque warranty provisions will govern the Project. The City Standard Specifications shall govern all other work unless otherwise noted within these contract documents. This Project will be administered by the City of Albuquerque and is funded by the Federal Highway Administration and NM Department of Transportation.
