Site work for a water / sewer project in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes the Replacement of a water main on Jennifer Street which will include: 1200 ft. of C900 water main pipe, 10 driveway bores, 18 reconnections, 2 fire hydrant installs, 2 6" hot taps with valves, 8 2" poly service casing bores. The Contract Time will be Thirty (30) consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated damages will be $100 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. Bids for this work will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom the Contract Documents and Addenda, if any, have been issued. Bids received by bidders to whom the Contract Documents were not issued by the City of Brookhaven will be returned unopened. State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach/inctude a copy of his resident state's current law pertaining to such state's treatment of non-resident contractors with their bid. Any bid submitted by a non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident contractor's current state law shall be rejected and not considered for award. The City of Brookhaven, MS reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in the bidding and to reject any and all bids.
