Site work for a mixed-use development in Plum, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project will encompass but not be limited to the following scope of work: 1. Installation of approximately 900 of new 6 PVC-C900 Waterline. All PVC Watermain pipe will be purchased by the PBMA and stored at the authority office (4555 New Texas Road) prior to start of work. Contractor will be responsible for the purchasing and installation of all other materials included in the project. 2. Installation of water service line into the homes of the resident. A certified plumber is required to do the interior plumbing. 3. Replacement of Service lines, curb stops and corporation stops and associated valves and fittings. 4. New Inter-Connections at Existing Locations. 5. Installation of new fire hydrants and associated valves and mechanical fittings. Removal of abandoned fire hydrant as directed by the engineer. 6. Restoration of all disturbed areas, including fences, walls, steps, sidewalks, lawns. Replacement of disturbed signs and mailboxes. 7. All roadway/pavement restoration. 8. Erosion and Sedimentation Controls. 9. Traffic control during construction. A check in the amount of $50.00 must be sent to KU Resources - Mitall Division, 117 Sagamore Hill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15239 and a scanned copy of the check must be emailed to cprokopik@kuresources.com before Bidding Documents will be emailed out. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount bid, made payable to " Plum Borough Municipal Authority." The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. No Bidder may withdraw his proposal within 120 days after the actual date of the opening of the proposals. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
