Renovation of an educational facility in Danville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of November 10, 2021, this project has been awarded to Venture Mechanical Contractors, Inc., with a total amount of $303,568.00. Contractors are invited to submit an offer for Danville High School Chiller Replacement. The project consists of: Base Bid - Replacement of existing chiller. Alternate No. 1 - Add a second chilled water system pump. Alternate No. 2 - Add a decoupled chiller loop with two chiller pumps. Alternate No. 3 - Drain chilled water system, flush, replace with 33% glycol mix. A single stipulated sum bid will be received for All Work. A Bid Bond and Performance and Payment Bond will be required. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The successful bidder must agree to conform to the current rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission. Attention is called to the provisions of Equal Employment Opportunity. Attention is called to the criminal background check required by Article 10 of the Supplementary Conditions. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workers and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
