The City of Port Orange is soliciting sealed bids for exterior painting services at its Water Treatment Plant. Bidders must be a commercial entity licensed to do business in the State of Florida and perform the services identified herein and properly registered and licensed to provide the goods or services identified in the scope of work, by all applicable state and local agencies. A Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety or a certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Port Orange, Florida in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposed bid shall be submitted with each bid. All Bids are solicited and shall be made pursuant to the Code of Ordinances, City of Port Orange, Chapter 2, Article VI, Division 2, Section 2-263, and all Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions thereof. Code of Ordinances, City of Port Orange is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1000 City Center Circle, Port Orange, Florida 32129. Local bidders may be given a local preference pursuant to the Code of Ordinances, City of Port Orange, Chapter 2, Article VI, Division 2, Section 2-275. CONTRACT TERM: Two hundred and seventy (270) days from notice to proceed for substantial completion and an additional ninety-five (95) days for final completion, not to exceed a total of three hundred and sixty-five (365) days for the term of the contract.
