Saving Project...

Site work for a golf course in Victoria, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a golf course.

Reconstruction of the existing greens at Riverside Golf Course with a sand rootzone mix that meets USGA recommendations. We would remove the top layers of soil to the existing greens which would expose the drainage system underneath. We would then clean out the drainage system and recover with a sand rootzone mix of material and reshape the greens. This particular process would take roughly 4 weeks to complete and we would be looking to get started sometime in March/April. Once the dirt work has been completed we would install TifEagle Ultradwarf Bermudagrass. The grass would be installed roughly 4 weeks after the dirt is moved with the best time to install grass being in May/June. Once the grass is installed it would take at least 12-16 weeks to grow in, which would end the project sometime in September/October. The project is included in the city's 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of July 5, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
