Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ridley, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Work Included Renovations and site improvements to NaII Field in Ridley Township.All areas disturbed during construction shall be restored to its original condition or better.The Contractor shall be responsible to replace any curb, sidewalk, signage,parking meter, etc. per the lump sum site restoration item. No additional monies will be given to the Contractor to restore the site.All pavement restoration areas shall be neat,straight,jointlines.Narrow asphalt strips between curb and trench will not be acceptable. Prior to signing the Contract, the Owner will require the successful Bidder to secure and post a Labor and Materials Payment Bond and Performance Bond,each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum, and each on the form provided therefore in the Project Manual.Such bonds shall be issued by surety acceptable to the Owner.Costs of such bonds will be paid for by the Contractor.In lieu of the above bonds, Federal or Commonwealth chartered lending institution irrevocable letters of credit and restrictive or escrow accounts,equal to 100%of the contract amount,will be acceptable. Upon completion,a one-year maintenance bond in the amount of 10% of contract shall be furnished. In lieu of said bond,the Owner will with hold retainage due on contract. The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the responsible Bidder who has proposed the lowest Contract Sum,subject to the Owners right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informality and irregularity in the Bid and in the Bidding. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held for the purpose of considering questions posed by Bidders.The conference will be open to all prospective Bidders and will be held at the following:N/A The Agreement will include as stipulation that the work be started within 10 days of the Owner's Notice to Proceed. The Agreement will include a stipulation that the Work be completed in a period of 75 calendar days following receipt of the Owner's Notice to Proceed.Due to field use,construction is limited to November 15,2021 and March 15,2022.The Agreement will include a stipulation that all punch list work must be completed within 15 days of receipt of punch list. The Township of Ridley reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or parts thereof,and to waive any informalities in the bidding,as the deem in the best interest of the Township.
