Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Arlington, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Only bids submitted from those Bidders that sign the Pre-Bid Conference Sign-In Sheet and attend the majority of the Pre-Bid Conference will be accepted. Responses from Bidders that do not attend the pre-bid conference will be opened and tabulated and then rejected for failure to meet the mandatory pre-bid meeting specification. The Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will discuss in detail all requirements of the Invitation for Bid and provide examples of the types of work expected to be performed by the successful Bidder. Attendees of this conference will have an opportunity to ask any questions regarding this Invitation for Bid. The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) is accepting bids in order to establish annual contract(s) with Prequalified Contractors for Infrastructure Construction and Repairs. THE SCOPE OF WORK consists of mostly civil infrastructure improvements, repairs, corrections or line connections to allow the development and/or improvements as needed to the University of Texas at Arlington Campus. The intent of this contract is to supply labor and equipment at the rates quoted. Any materials not provided by UTA, are allowed with a 5% markup after delivery of receipts.
