IFB #21025 Fire Restoration at 5024 37th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55417 Rebid. Deadline to submit questions tuesday december 7, 2021, 3:00 pm cst questions must be submitted online in the housing agency marketplace or via email to the buyer by the date and time noted above. Pre-bid conference/walk through none scheduled. To request a showing please contact Kristel Fierro at 612-342-1459. The Contractor will provide all material and labor to complete the fire restoration and smoke remediation work as detailed in the scope provided by Midwest Claim Services, Attachment J, including asbestos abatement work as described in 1.1.1. There may be additional unknown work that will need to be completed once the project has started. The Contractor must obtain approval on all change order work with the Project Manager prior to that work being completed. Asbestos containing linoleum in the kitchen, bottom layer, is to be removed. Approximately 120 sq feet of linoleum. The successful bidder shall provide asbestos abatement services including the removal of asbestos containing linoleum, containerization, and disposal of all asbestos containing and non-asbestos containing materials in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The abatement contractor shall submit proof of MN State Health Department issued asbestos abatement license and individual certifications for all employees performing abatement work. The contractor shall be responsible for the complete containment and cleanup of the construction debris and dust created by this work. Removal and detail cleaning work will be considered complete when all surfaces inside containment areas have no visible debris or asbestos residue and have passed final clearance inspection. Contractor shall pay for any and all costs associated with the additional inspections and testing resulting from failed clearance testing. If clearance samples fail, the Contractor is responsible for any and all costs to achieve clearance including costs due to delays in schedule. The contractor shall employ a third party to provide clearance testing. Documentation is to be provided certifying that the area has been clearance tested and passed final clearance inspection. Air monitoring samples and results are to be provided per applicable requirements.
