The successful Contractor will be required to submit a Performance and Payment bond in an amount equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price and both in a form acceptable to the Owner. A Bid Bond and Consent of surety in the form specified in the bid specifications must be executed Bidder's surety and submitted with the bid. The work under this Contract must be commenced within 30 days of the service of a Notice to Proceed on the Contractor. Work shall be completed 180 calendar construction days from the time the contract is awarded. Each laborer, worker or mechanic or other persons doing or contracting to do the whole or any part of the Work described in the Contract Documents shall be paid the prevailing wages and provided the supplements (including but not limited to health,welfare and pension benefits) as required by Article 8 (Section 220-223) and Article 9 (230-239) of the New York State Labor Law. The "Schedule of Hourly Rates and Supplements" set forth in the Supplementary Conditions shows the minimum hourly rates of wages which can be paid and the minimum supplements that can be provided as of the date of the schedule. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
