Site work for a civil project in Waldron, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Waldron, AR will receive sealed bids for the Storage Tank Repainting Project. The project consists of sandblasting and repainting the interior and exterior of the Bohnstein Reservoir (approximately 58' Dia. X 37' Ht.) and the Water Treatment Plant Backwash Tank (approximately 36' Dia. X 72' Ht.) welded steel tanks. Included are modifications to the roof vents and manway, installation of an 8" and 12" insertion valve and other repairs and improvements as may be required. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of Waldron in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. The attention of the Bidder is directed to the applicable federal and state requirements and conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under this Contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed beyond 150 days from the bid opening date.
