Summary of the project and the work to be carried out This project follows on from the phase 01 project, and consists of the installation of a ventilation unit (supplied by customer), to prepare a base to receive the unit. All the conduits will be installed at the roof level and an extraction system and also the installation of the ventilation ducts to be provided at the roof level . The main works included in this project are described as follows, but not limited to DEMOLITION Opening in the existing roof composition to allow the passage of conduits. Excavation work for the installation of the future base for ventilation equipment (see structure) Drilling in concrete and concrete block partitions for the passage of new duct. Installation of temporary partition to allow the work to be carried out NEW Waterproofing work on the roof when passing ventilation ducts and / or the reinforcement structure through the existing bridging. An AMCQ roof supervisor will be appointed by UdeM to supervise this work. Planting of three new trees at the edge of the building. Installation of exterior signage Interior gypsum work to close the old opening. Patching work on exterior plaster Close the existing vent pipe. Sealing work for electrical conduits Exterior concrete slab installation work (see structure) Relocation of the existing lamppost (see electricity) Patching work following the various interventions Mechanical and electrical work Work schedule The Contractor undertakes to take all the necessary measures in order to respect the schedule foreseen to begin the work on or around 2021-11-15 allowing the issuance of the Provisional Acceptance Certificate no later than: 2022-03 -28 . The ventilation unit will be supplied by UdeM on or before 2022-02-28. Penalties for delay (with the exception of tree planting and grass seeding) : $ 100.00 / day.
