Demolition, site work and addition to a library in Livingston, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the addition of a library; for the demolition of a library; and for site work for a library.
The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Sureties used for obtaining Bonds must appear as acceptable on the Department of Treasury Circular 570. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof; except as prescribed in R.S. 38:2215B. As a requirement under Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:2156.2, this project is classified as Building Construction. Contractor shall submit sealed written bid or electronic bid as per the Instructions to Bidders. In accordance with R.S. 38:2212 (A)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements stated in the Advertisement for Bids and those required on the Bid Form shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived. Bidder must comply with provisions of RS 38.2212.10. Construction contract duration shall be 180 consecutive calendar days. Liquidated damages shall be assessed in the amount of $500.00 per calendar day
