The Village of Pinecrest is requesting proposals from a qualified playground manufacturer/installer to design and install a modern themed playground to replace the aged playground and shade structure at Evelyn Greer Park in complete and strict accordance with specifications in the Request for Proposals. The Village of Pinecrest reserves the right to accept any proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Village or to waive any informality in any proposal. The Village may reject any or all proposals and re-advertise. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing no less than five (5) business days before the proposal due date. All questions and comments should be directed to procurement. Each proposer shall submit one (1) original, three (3) copies and one (1) digital (CD or USB Flash Drive in pdf format) proposal. The Village of Pinecrest desires to contract a qualified playground manufacturer/installer to design and install a modern themed playground to replace the aged playground and shade structure at Evelyn Greer Park. Equipment and Products: The proposal shall include the data necessary to evaluate and determine the qualifications of the Proposer and the quality of the following items for the Evelyn Greer Park location. Design must include the following: Inclusive playground equipment/features for children 2 - 12 years of age. A modern theme design is desired and should include animal features reflective of South Florida. Playground Surfacing: Poured-in-Place surface is required. It is preferable to have designs or playground games designed into the surface for additional engagement. Shade Structure: Major playground components for each age group shall be shaded. Shade structure posts shall be located outside of the playground area.
