For the Bentonville Bikeway Designs-Projects 1B and 3 Interim Striping Plan. Project 1B includes the construction of portions of concrete shared use path and includes the addition of directional separated bikes lanes on NW 3rd Street from Coler Mountain Bike Preserve to NW O Street and a two-way separated bike lane on the north side of NW 3rd Street from NW O Street to NW Walton Boulevard. Project 3 includes the addition of a two-way separated bike lane on the south side of SW 8th Street from the Applegate Trail near SW Arrowhead Drive to SW I Street and the trail that leads to Osage Park. It also incorporated the extension of a shared use path on SW 8th Street from SW Sims Drive to SW Arrowhead Drive to connect to the existing Applegate Trail. Both projects will repurpose the existing street to include an on-street bikeway and have a bike buffer that contains both horizontal and vertical elements. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. All Bid Submissions must be received by Purchasing prior to the public Bid Opening date and time. Late submissions, unsigned submissions and submissions which do not contain the required Bid Bond will be rejected, without exception. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after specified closing time. All interested parties are invited to attend Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of Bentonville in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid.
