The Project includes the following Work: The project work entails the removal of existing MCC, conduit to wet well and pump cables, service conductors and service conduit, demolition of existing concrete slab, and installation of one new pump and new site electric and control elements to the existing storm water pump station. New pump installation includes the removal of one existing 200 HP pump and replacement with 185 HP pump to include electrical connection and start up. New electric and control elements include but are not limited to a new multi-section MCC, new tri-plex pump control panel, conduit to wet well, site lighting, pin and sleeve receptacle for use with Owner's existing generator and reinforced concrete equipment pad. Existing site is 3-phase power and must coordinate service and metering removal and replacement with El Paso Electric Company. ADDITIVE ALTERNATE #1: Includes the removal of one existing 200 HP pump and replacement with 185 HP pump to include electrical connection and start up. ADDITIVE ALTERNATE #2: Includes the removal of existing one 77 HP pump and replacement with 70 HP pump to include electrical connection and start up. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price.
