SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor shall utilize construction practices to minimize erosion andsediment runoff during construction. Installation of all required BMP's shallbe the responsibility of the Contractor as outlined in the project notes. Work of this section includes the installation of devices to collect or trap siltfrom leaving the site as required and shall be performed by the Contractor ifrequired. Work shall comply with the latest edition of city ordinance and/or regulationsand requirements of any governing authorities in clearing and erosioncontrol. The intent of these specifications is to ensure that erosion produced by thisproject is minimized to the maximum extent possible. All areas that are part of the trail construction shall be stabilized as soon aspossible using the most appropriate BMP's.
