Renovation of an educational facility in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
***As of January 3, 2021, the project has not yet been awarded. The project is anticipate being able to render a decision on your request within twenty business days no later than January 28, 2022.*** To renovate the existing concrete vault within the Upstate Medical University Cancer Center. This vault was left empty when the building was constructed with the intent to fit-out when the department was ready. This vault will accommodate a new Linear Accelerator and will be modified to meet the additional shielding requirements to safely use this specific piece of equipment. The work as shown in the construction documents incorporates both demolition and proposed work that is necessary to turn over the vault so an equipment vendor can install the equipment. Contract term: 90 Calendar Days MBE: 23 % WBE: 7 % SDVOB: 6 % All work on this Contract is to be completed by 3/31/2022 to allow for equipment installation to begin by vendor on 4/1/2022. It is anticipated that Notice to Proceed will be issued around 1/1/2022 with a 90 day contract work period ending around 3/31/2022. Overtime work by second shift and/or weekend shifts should be factored into the bid to complete all work within the 90 days as needed. Subcontractor Bids are due 10/26 by 12:00 PM
