Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Passaic, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field.

Proposals must be made on the standard Proposal Form provided, accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond from a Surety/Bonding Company licensed and qualified to do business in the State of New Jersey pursuant to Federal and/or State law as Surety, a Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the amount of ten (10%) of the total amount bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00 to insure signing of the contract. Bidder shall submit with the bid a Certificate of Surety from a Surety Company licensed and qualified to do business in the State of New Jersey, pursuant to Federal and/or State law as a Surety, stating that it will provide the contractor with a Performance Bond of the total bid price. Successful Contractor will be required to submit a Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond (refer to Instruction to Bidders). The City of Passaic is only responsible for forwarding addendums or clarifications to those prospective bidders who obtained specifications directly from the City of Passaic, Division of Purchasing or to those who have put the City of Passaic, Division of Purchasing on notice as having received the specification. Bidders are required to comply with the requirement of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, et seq. (Affirmative Action) and P.L. 1963, c. 150 (Prevailing Wage) and Americans with Disabilities Act by Passaic County under Title 1 of the Housing and Urban- Rural Recovery Act of 1983 (P.L. 98-181). Under the said Act, the Davis-Bacon Act is applicable to the contracted work. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all the provisions of prevailing wage rates as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor. All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days. The work to be performed under this contract includes the construction of a new parking lot for Christopher Columbus Park, including full depth pavement, curb and drainage installation. Dense-Graded Aggregate Base Course, 4" Thick 165 TON Hot Mix Asphalt 19M64 Base Course 120 TON Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course L.S. Site Electrical Design and Drawings L.S. Site Lighting Construction L.S. Site Lighting Electrical Service Achieve Completion by May 27, 2022. No work shall begin on-site until April 1, 2022.
