Fairfield County is accepting competitive sealed bids for the purchase of nine hundred air filtration systems to be connected to current units. 1. All units must be new, still in original packaging. 2. All units shall meet state and federal guidelines for ionization air quality. 3. If add alternate for installation is awarded the following will apply: Gate keys will be issued to the contractor to gain access to the Fairfield County School facilities for the purpose of installation service. Depending on the hours of service, some facility gates may be secured. It is the contractor's responsibility to open, close and secure the gates when performing installation. This includes non-business hours, weekends and holidays. The contractor is responsible for any damage to a building or other property caused by the contractors ' employees while performing the work. The contractor will be given a Fairfield County School District calendar showing the days of the year the district is closed. Fairfield County Procurement and Fairfield County School district along with the contractor will work together to develop a schedule for installation of units. The air filtration systems shall have a needle point ionization unit that is programmable for self-cleaning of HVAC systems up to 6 tons. The units must be of commercial grade, with wiring voltage input capability of 24VAC to 240VAC.
