Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Florida City, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

**As of December 13, 2021, the project has not been awarded yet. A timeline for award is not yet determined. (Contractor must obtain and submit all permits prior to performing any work). Work under this contract shall include but is not limited to the following: Furnishing all supervision, labor, required materials, equipment, tools and performing all operations necessary to install traffic calming signs, crosswalks, school zone signs, ramps and removal and installation of sidewalks. All work to be performed in accordance with the construction plans and specifications contained herein. The purpose of this work is to enable and encourage students in grades K-8 to walk and/or bicycle to and from school; to make walking and bicycling to school safer and more appealing; and to facilitate the planning, development, and implementation of projects that will improve safety and reduce traffic, fuel consumption, and air pollution in the vicinity of schools. If any changes are required due to conflict of design and or field conditions, the Engineer will make the final determination. The Contractor and all subcontractors, under this Contract, are prohibited from performing any work, other than specified in the Contract and/or directed by the Engineer, within the limits of the project site, without prior written notification to the Engineer. This includes any work for private or commercial entities This project is subject to the criteria and conditions of federal funded projects.
