Site work for a water / sewer project in Springfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of October 16, 2023, a design team has been identified. This procurement will provide for an extension of Design Engineering Services for the IDNR Statewide Design Services for Dam Removals/Modifications contract OWR-287. The services at a minimum will include project management, design coordination, permit application, preparation of specifications and plans and estimates sufficient for competitive bidding of DNR construction contracts. The Consultant will also provide services related to possible required revisions during the bidding process and/or to construction questions that arise from the contractor. The time extension is required due to the delay of work on Work Order (WO) #3. WO#3 includes the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates, bidding assistance and assistance during construction for the removal of two dams on the Sangamon River, and one dam on the Vermilion River. The additional services are germane to the original contract. This change order is in accordance with 720 ILCS 5/33E-9. Change Order Notice #4 to extend contract to 12/31/2022 CO #4 - Time extension is required due to the delay of work on Work Order (WO) #3. This time extension will allow for the completion of sealed bidding documents, permits, bidding assistance and construction assistance for two dam removals on the Sangamon River and one on the Vermilion River projects. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
