Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a civil project in Pooler, Georgia. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of January 12, 2022, contracts are being finalized to award a general contractor. A timeframe for award has not been confirmed. The Project includes the following Work: Upgrade of the Pooler Wastewater Treatment Plant from 3.3 MGD to 6.223 MGD. Work includes: concrete work, site work, electrical, instrumentation, piping and related work for new headworks, rotary screens, biological basins, membrane bioreactors, UV disinfection system, aerobic digester, effluent pumps, static aerators. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $40,000,000.00. The Project has an expected duration of 630 days. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Hussey Gay Bell 329 Commercial Drive Suite 200 Savannah, GA 31406 912-354-4626 Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7:30 A.M. - 5:30 P.M. local time, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
