**This is to notify you that the bids for the Warren County Community College is being extended until November 23, 2021. A notice will be issued on November 10, 2021, that a last addendum, Addendum No. 4, will be issued for the Securing Our Children’s Bond Act Project - Phillipsburg Education Center – Drone Tech. Suite Renovations. The addendum will change the bid opening date and time to November 23, 2021, at 11:00 am. The location will remain unchanged. The Project Involves: Reconfiguration of Space, Casework, Finishes, Hvac, Sprinkler Head Relocation and Lighting and Power. A Bidder's Bid Proposal must be accompanied by Bid Security consisting of a Certified Check or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of the College or a Bid Bond, on a form provided by the College in its Bid Solicitation. The amount of such Bid Security shall be ten percent (10%) of the Bid Price. A Consent of Surety, 100% performance bond and 100% payment bond, as provided by N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-25.16 & 17, are also required. The Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the time and place set forth above for receipt of Bids. All Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Proposal form included in the Bid Solicitation and must strictly conform to the requirements of the Bid Solicitation. Bidders must include with their Bid Proposals all of the various documents and forms specified for such submission within the Bid Solicitation. The scope of the Contractor's work is as defined by the Contract Documents. Insofar as possible, the Contractor shall, in carrying out its work, employ such methods or means as will not cause any unnecessary or reasonably avoidable interruption of, or interference with, the work of any other Contractor ofthe College or the College's regular business activities. The Contractor shall be obligated to perform, at the Contract price, all specified work, as well as work which, although not expressly specified, is incidental and necessary to the proper performance of the specified work. Any ambiguity in this regard shall be resolved in favor of the College. When hiring or scheduling workers in each construction trade, the contractor or subcontractor agrees to make good faith efforts to employ minority and women workers in each construction trade consistent with the targeted employment goal
