Renovation of a library in N Wildwood, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

The proposed work for the project shall include but is not limited to interior and exterior renovations to the existing library building. Interior renovations shall include but are not limited to the reconfiguration of interior space, the replacement of heat ventilation and air conditioning, the replacement of bathrooms and plumbing, and the replacement of the restrooms for public use. Exterior renovations to the building shall include but are not limited to the removal and replacement of roofing, siding, windows, and doors, the reconstruction of the vestibule, and the addition of exterior lighting. 1) The site work including but not limited to the removal and replacement of sanitary sewer and water services, the removal and reconstruction of the existing asphalt parking lot, the removal and replacement of the existing concrete curb, sidewalks, and driveway aprons and the restoration of disturbed areas to original conditions as specified. 2) The improvements to the exterior of the building (new siding, windows, doors) excluding the metal roof. 2) The renovations and improvements to the interior of the building. 3) All of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing throughout the entire building. 1. Removal of designated building construction, equipment, and fixtures. 2. Identification of utilities. 3. Cast-in-place concrete for foundations, slabs on grade. 4.Grout for masonry. 5.Guard rails and handrails 1. Formed steel stud framing. 2. Formed steel joist framing. 3. Formed steel truss framing. 1. Wood blocking and furring. 2. Telephone and electrical panel backboards. 3. Roof curbs. November 30, 2021 Notice to Proceed June 28, 2022 Project Complete Financial assistance for this project is made possible by a grant from the: New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Division of Housing and Community Resources Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program Phil Murphy, Governor State of New Jersey Sheila Oliver, Lieutenant Governor Lieutenant Governor Sheila Oliver, Commissioner New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Minority and women owned businesses are welcome to bid this project. Federal and State wage rates must be adhered to. The highest of the two wage rates and fringe benefits are applicable. Proposals must be made on the standard Proposal Forms in the manner designated in the Bid Documents, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the Bidder, and the name of the work on the outside addressed to Clerk, Borough of Wildwood Crest; and must be accompanied by a statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Borough and either a Bid Bond, Certified or Cashiers Check drawn to the order of the Borough of Wildwood Crest for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, except that the check need not exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder is hereby notified that a performance bond for the full amount of the project is required. The successful bidder will be required to execute a contract for the performance of the said work or the furnishing of said material or both, as the case may be, and a surety bond to be executed by a reliable surety company in a sum equal to the amount of the contract price for said work and/or material, guaranteeing the performance of the contract, which surety bond and contract shall be approved as to form and execution by the Borough Solicitor. Federal Labor Standards require that Contractors and Sub-Contractors pay the higher of the State or Federal Wage Rates and fringe benefits in effect at the time the contract is signed. The bidders shall also be required to comply with the following: A. Affirmative Action requirements (N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq.and N.J.A.C. 17:27). B. Certification Pursuant to P.L. 2012, C.25 (no investment activities in Iranian financial or energy sectors) C. The provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et. seq). D. Americans with Disability Act of 1990, Title II (42 U.S.C. S121 01). E. Worker and Community Right-to-Know Act (N.J.S.A. 34:5A-1). F. Stockholder Disclosure Certification (P.L. 1977, C.33, N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2). G. Business Registration Certification (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44). H. Public Works Contractors Registration (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48). I. Consent of Surety (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-22). J. Addendum Acknowledgement (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23c. 1), 2) &3)). K. Subcontractors List (N.J.S.A. 40A:11- 16). The award of the contract for this project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by the Borough of Wildwood Crest in a lawful manner. The Borough of Wildwood Crest reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt of said bids. The Borough of Wildwood Crest also reserved the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the best interest of the Borough of Wildwood Crest. Each proposal and bid must be submitted in accordance with the terms of the aforesaid specifications, must be made on standard proposal forms contained in the bid documents and shall be delivered to the place and hour mentioned above. CONTRACTUAL COMPLETION TIME- 210 Calendar Days
