The project is anticipate being able to render a decision on your request within twenty business days no later than January 28, 2022.*** Scope of work: is to include all labor, material and equipment necessary to furnish and install service platforms at two (2) existing cooling towers at SUNY Upstate Medical University's Institute for Human Performance and the Neuroscience Research Building. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 180 days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. No pre-bid conference and project walk-through will be held. No individual walk-throughs will be provided. Bids must be submitted in triplicate (3), which must have original signatures on the forms provided by the University, in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The selected contractor must comply with M/WBE goals. State University of New York goals are: 16% MBE and 14% WBE participation of the total contract value. State University of New York also has a goal for the Work Force participation: EEO 10% WBE and EEO 10% MBE of total work force on the project.
