The contract consists of carrying out reconstruction work on the drinking water and sewer pipes, the roadway and other related work described briefly as follows:
Temporary supply of drinking water;
The removal or disuse of the existing combined sewer, sanitary and rainwater pipes and drinking water pipes;
Installation of the proposed drinking water, sanitary and storm sewer pipes, including connections to existing pipes and service entrances;
Installation and connection of a water main;
The installation of part of the pipes by directional drilling;
Traffic management measures during the works;
Installation of manholes, sumps, valves, valve chambers, fire hydrants and other required accessories;
Cleaning, leak testing and disinfection of drinking water pipes;
Cleaning, leak testing and inspection of sewer pipes;
Removal and disposal of existing paving, sidewalks and curbs;
Street structural work, including paving;
The construction of sidewalks and curbs;
Spraying of the existing paving and resurfacing on a section of avenue St-Louis; Marking work;
Repair work on surfaces and private land; The work to be done is located in the City of Saint-Hyacinthe, more precisely on:
Avenue Saint-Louis, between the end of rue Yamaska (near the CN rail line) and rue Brunette, for infrastructure replacement work;
Avenue Saint-Louis, between rue Brunette and rue des Seigneurs (R-224), for leveling and resurfacing work;
Rue Saint-Pierre Ouest, between Avenue Saint-Louis and Avenue Messier, for infrastructure replacement work;
Performance bond and materials and services of each corresponding 50% is required.
