Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Roswell, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.

Installation of LVT flooring and removal of existing flooring, installation of LED lighting and removal of old lighting, installation of new ceiling tiles, and painting of interior. The project will take place in an active building that will remain open to the public. Renovations will take place on the second floor, which could make some access difficult. It will be the contractor's responsibility to use and provide the necessary materials, manpower, and equipment to execute best practices for safety and efficiency while completing this this project. Contractor will be expected to submit plans for review to appropriate and required permitting entities (If necessary). The awarded contractor must either be licensed thru the State of Georgia as a General Contractor, or combination of licensing associated with work as detailed in the scope of work. Liquidated damages have been set in accordance with the Bid Documents. A Bid Bond equal to 5% of the base bid will be required. 100% Payment and Performance bonds will also be required by the successful contractor. If this bid shall be accepted by the City of Roswell and the undersigned shall fail to execute a satisfactory contract in the form of said proposed Contract, and give satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, or furnish satisfactory proof of carriage of the insurance required within ten (10) days from the date of Notice of Award of the Contract, then the City of Roswell may, at its option, determine that the undersigned abandoned the Contract and there upon this bid shall be null and void, and the sum stipulated in the attached Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the City of Roswell as liquidated damages.
