Renovation of a power facility in Washington, District of Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.

The Architect of the Capitol has a requirement for Construction Services for Piping Replacement and Egress Improvements, Refrigeration Plant Revitalization (RFP) Phase V, Capital Power Plant (CPP) (Project Number PP 08001J) - Construction Services involves the revitalization of the West Refrigeration Plant (WRP) and limited work in the West Refrigeration Plant Expansion (WRPE). All work will occur within an existing and fully operational plant. The project, including Base Bid and all Options is expected to be $10M and above. This phase shall include the following: Base Bid: Demolition and replacement of Chilled Water Piping in the WRP basement. Work will include piping 42" diameter and below, to include insulation, jacketing, and miscellaneous devices and valves as described in construction documents. 1. Sub-Option A: Condenser Water piping (Basement). This sub-option includes the demolition and new work construction of the condenser water piping in the Basement Level of the WRP only. 2. Sub-Option B: Condenser Water piping (First Floor). This sub-option includes the demolition and new work construction of the condenser water piping on the First Floor of the WRP only. 3. Sub-Option C: WRP condenser water filtration system. This sub-option includes the new work construction of the condenser water traveling screen filtration system located in the Basement Level of the WRP only. 4. Sub-Option D: WRPE condenser water filtration system. This sub-option includes the new work and limited demolition construction of the condenser water traveling screen filtration system located in the Basement Level of the WRPE only. 5. Sub-Option E: WRP/WRPE ball cleaner system. This sub-option includes the new work and limited demolition construction of the ball cleaner system located on the First Floors of the WRP and WRPE. 6. Sub-Option F: WRPE Electro Cell Particle Precipitator Filter. This sub-option includes the demolition and new work construction of the electro cell particle precipitator filter system for the condenser water located in the Basement Levels of the WRP and WRPE. 7. Sub-Option G: WRPE Piping Seismic Supports. This sub-option includes the new work construction costs to install seismic supports to the existing chilled water and condenser water piping on the WRPE's Basement Level and First Floor.
