The Township of Toms River, Department of Public Works, is seeking bids for the furnishing and delivery of Traffic Sign Materials for various township departments. This bid will be awarded on a lump sum basis. This will be an open-ended contract with funds being encumbered each time an order is placed, contingent upon the availability of funds in the applicable municipal budget. The Township of Toms River hereby reserves the right to purchase some or all of the items listed herein from NJ State Contract and/or Cooperative Pricing Contract, should it be in the best interest of the Township of Toms River to do so. The Township of Toms River hereby waives the requirement of a Bid Bond, Consent of Surety and Performance Bond. Contract Term: December 10, 2021 through December 9, 2022 for twelve (12) consecutive months. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15, this contract may be extended for no more than one (1) two-year, or two (2) oneyear, extensions, after the expiration of the original contract period, contingent upon the approval of the governing body by resolution with the agreement of the Contractor. Contract extensions shall be subject to the availability and appropriation of funds for each year the contract is to be extended. All terms and conditions of the contract shall remain the same. Any price changes authorized on contract extensions shall be pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15.
