As of October 31, 2022, a design engineer has been selected. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The City of San Antonio (City), Aviation Department is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeking Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms (Respondents) to provide planning, design/engineering and construction phase services for several airfield projects for the San Antonio International Airport (Airport). The Airport, in partnership with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), has combined several airfield projects into a single priority due to their interdependencies. These projects were identified during the development of the most recent Strategic Development Plan (SDP) and the Pavement Maintenance Management Program (PMMP). An initial phasing plan is being incorporated into the Airport's FAA Airport Capital Improvement Plan (ACIP). The projects' timelines, as reflected in the ACIP, may accelerate or be extended due to actual funding levels. The advanced planning will consider projects identified in the SDP and PMMP but not yet included into the City's Aviation Capital Budget as possible design solutions for the overall project to function in its final condition. The projects to be included in this RFQ will be broken into multiple smaller projects as required to meet phasing and funding needs.
