Renovation of a municipal facility in The Woodlands, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Woodlands Township is issuing an Invitation for Bids for Project C-2021-0440 Exterior Window Glazing & Wet Sealing/Weatherproofing and Interior/Exterior Perimeter Window Cleaning - All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted in writing via email to Glen Bernstein, Facility Maintenance Supervisor at gbernstein@thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov . Interpretations, questions, or clarifications will be considered by the Township and if necessary be responded to by issuance of an Addendum. All questions are to be received no later than Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. CSDT. Only answers issued by Addenda will be binding. All addendums will be posted electronically and will be posted by Friday October 29, 5:00 p.m. CSDT -All bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, or certified check drawn upon a National or State bank, in the amount of 2% of the Bidder's total bid amount, payable to The Woodlands Township, or a Bid Bond in the same amount, from a Surety Company licensed in the State of Texas, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter a contract. -All bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, or certified check drawn upon a National or State bank, in the amount of 2% of the Bidder's total bid amount, payable to The Woodlands Township, or a Bid Bond in the same amount, from a Surety Company licensed in the State of Texas, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter a contract. The project goal is to wet seal/weatherproof all glass/trim areas and caulk the trim around the windows where it meets the concrete tilt wall and repair all trim that may be loose. Any areas that have already had previousrepairs or wetsealed should be redone to insure consistency in all areas. All areas should be cleaned and prepped/primed per caulking manufacturers specifications and industry standards. See Items 1A and 1B on the Bid Tabulation Form.
